We two get along.

I was about to dead head this sunflower  
( Helianthus. Think the name is ‘ Happy Days’ bought at Harlow Carr many years ago). when I noticed the ladybird. So obviously left it alone. Then a while later I saw a bumble bee land on the same flower.
They very kindly waited until I took some photos before they flew off and went their separate ways.
It was nice to see them quite amicably sharing the same flower.
Two completely different species getting on well together.
A pity humans can’t do the same.

We called to see my brother-in-law this morning and were so pleased to see him looking so well.
They are waiting for the biopsy and then the doctors will decide what further treatment is necessary.
Just a reminder for all male Blippers to have their prostrate checked out early.

After a cloudy morning the sun came out and it has been another lovely afternoon. Quite breezy and so haven’t seen any butterflies.
Got all the dead heading done and watered the pots.
Picked 10ozs of beans which we have just enjoyed with our evening meal.
Yesterday’s barbecue went well and the new table and chairs were perfect.
