Arles

Via Aix en Provence.

Our next stop on our Tour de France is Arles, known for its Roman ruins. A fairly short journey compared to others and I wanted to stop in Aix (extra collage). A lovely town where we saw some French fashion in evidence.

Driving on to Arles, we opted to drive around part of the Carmargue and I was lucky enough to spot some flamingos but no horses and also no photos as we couldn’t stop. (Mr C has done all the driving so far….hes a star!).

After checking into our rather dated 60s/70s hotel, we went out for dinner and then had a little explore (blip… and another extra collage).  Arles is a little shabby around the edges compared to Aix but does have an arty vibe about it.
