Colours, Lines and Curves

Had a day at The Costa Del Whitehaven today with the intention of getting some Turf Zones. I only took three, one at each of the lighthouses and one at the harbour entrance.

It rained just about all the time and for the last one, at one of the lighthouses, it absolutely threw it down. I looked like a drowned rat when I went round Tesco’s for some lunch.

Needless to say, I enjoyed the last one the most. It took me back to the days when I could walk in the hills. Nothing makes you feel more alive than a good soaking. Some of my happiest times have been spent fighting against the elements with friends. A nice warm pub was always waiting at the end of it all.

Did over 5500 steps today which for most people is nothing to write home about but it was a massive achievement for me and even though I ached like hell, I felt good! :-)
