Sail away

Second day at the Tall Ships event in Aberdeen. The ships were heading off today for the 3rd race leg across to Norway.
I watched for a while from the esplanade as they came out to sea from the harbour. But the activity in the harbour was more interesting - horns blasting, ships manoeuvring, tug boats tugging and the crews ready for action. The blip is the Omani ship with the crew on the rigging (zoom in to see them!).
Great to see - bit of a wild sky as thunder clouds loomed.
