A sign on the way in reads: “No Trumps allowed.” I was there to sup some ale and read the Saturday papers. It was pleasant on the terrace aside from the attention of a persistent wasp which was lucky to escape with its life. On the way home I noticed a new pleasure steamer on the canal. (See extra.)
