Nuthatch #57

A more relaxed kind of a morning in the butterfly house with about half the number of visitors that we had on Wednesday.  Gave us chance to do a bit of maintenance and cleaning which is always good. 
Picked up my niece  from the train station who is visiting this weekend and had a lovely lunch cooked by my husband. 

Blip today is this lovely nuthatch. I don't recall ever seeing a nuthatch in my garden before so that was a nice surprise.  However, with the small patch of woodland not far away and Jays and woodpecker visiting quite regularly, it shouldn't be such a surprise I guess. They've probably just been feeding in another garden nearby all this time :)
