Bee on Echinops

A busy morning in the garden and then off to have our regular Sunday meal with the family at Mum’s. It’s a while since she cooked for 7 people as normally there’s just 4 or 5 of us, but this time we had my eldest niece visiting and my youngest niece brought her boyfriend for the first time. He seemed quite nice :) 
We had a lovely meal but she failed to tell, us that he doesn’t eat dairy so he had to go without the lemon cheesecake I’d made. There was at least a quarter left which we were looking forward to, but I now realised that I’ve left it at Mum’s - doh! 

Just home now after watching the Lionesses win the penalty shootout in the Euro final to retain their crown. Well done to them all. I feel for Spain who we all thought were the better team this evening but it’s about the result in the end I guess and the Lionesses managed the win.
