The love song of the Clematis and Lavender

Flanders and Swan sang of the doomed love affair between the Honeysuckle and Bindweed, doomed because one wound to the left and the other to the right. In our garden, the Clematis is smitten by the Lavender and is trying to throttle it with love. But you can just make out an out-of-focus saviour strutting up the garden path to release them from their misery.
