Garden thugs looking pretty

In the background you can see Japanese Anemone and monbrecia as well the yellow in the foreground, they are taking over although I don’t mind, they all look attractive for a few weeks. 

A good day, after the usual hours spent doing whatever it is we do to keep life moving along I spent time knitting and craft work including checking on You Tube how to sew a French knot, and other stitches long forgotten, if ever known and later ordering a colourful set of embroidery threads.  A fun time. John was out til early afternoon, he then made a start laying new tiles for the hearth under the wood burning stove - currently redundant, sat in the middle of the sitting room.
