The good thing about drone people using GoPros on their little flying machines is that YouTube is full of teardown videos showing how to dismantle them so I spent some time carefully pulling the thing to bits, cleaning up what I could and inspecting the damage. I reconnected up the bare essentials and pushed the power button. Would you believe that it sparked into life? But with no SD card it couldn't do anything so I formatted a card, put it in and made a 39 second video of me waving the camera around. Slightly reminiscent of the scene in Robocop when the rebuilt Murphy is booted up, except for the bit where I turned the camera to my own gormless face. So, I thought I'd put it all back in its case and see if everything worked. It didn't. And now nothing works. I may have killed it. Still, I'll persevere for a bit.
