50 years and counting!

Last night made up for my two nights of good sleep. I hardly slept for two consecutive hours! We exchanged cards and went down to breakfast then I came back and had another hour of sleep to help catch up a little.
We had decided to have another pool day and to avoid the town over the weekend. It's going to be a bit cooler from Monday and today had a lovely cooling breeze.
I didn't go in the pill at all though, I do love swimming in the sea and I'd forgotten how much easier floating is in salty water.
Today is our Golden Wedding Anniversary and we had booked into the beachside restaurant at our hotel but weren't really sure what to expect. Contrasting last night, tonight's meal was excellent. A good imaginative menu, well cooked food and excellent service. We made sure we told them how good they were and will say so online too.
At the end of the meal came a piece of cake with sparkler. I'll put it in an extra.

We had high hopes of some good entertainment as we are as Placido Domingo was appearing just across the water (outdoors) but we couldn't hear anything. We did have fireworks again though.
Late last night I in realised I hadn't put up the Art Quiz so added it late.
I'll attach it below too. I was delighted to have full marks.
My blip is of today and on our wedding day in 1975, both of us straight out of college/uni and just 21!
