Saltburn

Day out in Saltburn today.  We noticed earlier in the week that the RPS Yorkshire region were running a photowalk today, and we fancied a day out.  We did have a slight worry we wouldn't be able to park - no spaces on the seafront, no spaces in the car park, then we finally found one on our way back along the sea front.

There were low numbers - joining us were just three others plus our guide.  He'd boned up on his local knowledge so regaled us with a stream of facts as we walked around.

We wandered around the town (extra from one of the back streets) and then ventured down to the seafront to look at the beach huts, and then made our way into the valley gardens following the steam railway.  Then after a cuppa and cake made our way back to the sea and our cars.  Home in time for pizza!
