Leeds Ironman

Today was (and still is for some competitors) the Leeds Ironman. A triathlon comprising a 2.4 mile swim in Roundhay Lake, a 112 mile cycle and then a full marathon around the streets of Roundhay! The first swimmers went in the water at 6am and finished several hours ago. The slower competitors will still be out there running (it's 7pm now).

We walked out to the nearest point on the cycle route - this was the 30, 65 and 100 mile point (it's a three lap course). The people we saw were on their second and third laps.

We spent quite a lot of time doing blurry ICM shots. I like the feeling of speed it gives. The faster shutter speed shots didn't have blurry spokes so they looked like they were just balancing!
