Aquilegia chrysantha

Making it's third appearance here.   The first was five years ago, it's latest turn demonstrating it's persistence as a garden plant, self sowing gently into the gravelly, membrane lined path between two raised beds.  It's a toughie.

A long work day, a day of peaks and troughs busy-ness wise.  Overall business was respectable but as can happen at Aber Cafe, a coming together of events saw us especially busy at lunchtime as both passengers and 'walk-up' visitors came in search of hot food, this at the same time as we hosted a party of 30 for a cream tea!   I'm best when I am busy, keeping my focus under pressure .... but older than I was, I do enjoy the chance to sit with a cuppa afterwards if the opportunity arises!
We were finished in very good time as there were few passengers on the last two trains and the dogs were very pleased to see me when I got home, even though C had popped in to see them during the day.   A quiet evening writing an article for the AGS magazine and a trip to the ball field with the dogs.   So many visitors in the area now it's easier to take them somewhere private.

I'll be doing it all again tomorrow.
