The Shooter
This chap has been around all day, an official photographer taking lots of shots of the performances and of the audience. Well, if he is going to photograph me then I am going to photograph him. Albeit with my phone camera.
I’ve attended the opening service of what is the 297th annual three choirs festival, this year in Hereford cathedral; listened to the Black Country Brass Band; been to a chamber concert in a remarkably yellow church (Emma Johnson and the Carducci Quartet); been to the first evening performance of the festival with the Philharmonia Orchestra + adult and children’s choirs + soloists; and been to a one woman show (“grasp the nettle”, with Lucy Stevens) about composer Ethel Smyth. All thoroughly enjoyable. I also bumped into a chap in stockings carrying a sword, not an everyday occurrence, who turned out to be the High Sheriff of Worcestershire. I’ve added a few temporary extras.
