Space

Had a long lay this morning then Cathie asked me to make pancakes for breakfast.
I made the biggest ones I’ve ever made. Almost the same size as the griddle!
Then to the hospital. Cathie dropped me off as she was going to her parents.
Mom was sitting up in bed, awake and with it, with just a little yoghurt left which she ate herself when I reminded her she had it and it was almost finished.
I got her up to sit on the chair for a bit. She sat up for about an hour then wanted back into bed and fell into a sound sleep.
An hour or so later I decided to go get a coffee (and pick up a tea for Maureen’s daughter). Well, I’d forgotten that visitors aren’t supposed to need to eat or drink at the weekend! Nothing open! And I couldn’t get the vending machine to work! Finally had to walk all the way through to A&E in order to get one that worked.
At least it gave me a little exercise!
Mom was still out of it when dinner came round and I couldn’t convince her to take anything at all. I found myself getting quite upset at that point so messaged Cathie to come get me.
Just before I left, mom was starting to waken up (of course). Audrey called so she had a wee chat with her. Then I left.
We went to Bradley Cross for a walk which was lovely.
Burgers for dinner. Mmm!
