The Venue
A meet up with G to talk through the latest developments and make sure we’ve got everything covered. A bit of a sad conversation, even though we both know it’s done, it’s over. The words, an arid interrogation, keep coming back to me. I shall use them.
One tiny thing was that I found I didn’t have a single photo of Beth and they’d been together for about three years before it all went south. The daughter will sleuth some out as she’s still in touch with her. This sort of thing, collating photos and videos is somehow filling a gap for me; re-creating a history from the great before. The purpose of this history isn’t clear, but it’s important to me.
And later, to the Raeburn to check out the place again and make sure the laptop does indeed connect with their projector. It does. And plays sound too, should I wish. The stage is set.
And it being Friday, and that late afternoon time, I felt we ought to check out their taps too.
