Sunny in the rain

A friend brought these sunflowers round when I came out of hospital. That was 3 weeks ago and they're still looking beautiful. 
It's been raining for most of the day so I haven't really done anything except some housework and visit the nursing home to see C this afternoon. I haven't seen anyone to speak to (apart from  nursing staff) since yesterday afternoon. 
Last night I watched the first of 2 parts of Appropriate Adult on ITVX.  It's a true story and is about the Fred and Rose West case.  It was very creepy but superb acting . I may watch the second half this evening as there's nothing on TV that I want to see. Sorry everyone who is watching the Women's Euro football match. I'm afraid that I'm not interested - I would like England to win, obviously, but I don't need to see it.
