That changeable weather

Well, it kept a-changing. 
Short bursts of sunshine interspaced with heavy downpours made for an exciting walk in the Bavarian countryside.
After a decent walk a Sauerkraut mitt Wurst was just what the frau doktor ordered. Washed down with a big glass of chilled sauerkraut juice. I kid you not, it's a thing. There were no other takers than yours truly. Apparently it does wonders for the gut...
And as today is Sunday, mandatory Sunday cake was ingested. And tasty it was too. 
Then a swim in the lake to work up an appetite for the evening meal (pork medallions with creamy grain mustard and mushroom sauce with Spätzle, since you're asking). 
I shall.sleep well. 
In between the regular visits to the loo (that sauerkraut juice seems to be working its magic already...)
