Not a Derelict For Sure
Momma decided to get up in the middle of the night, get dressed and sleep on the recliner. Hubby went down to check on her; she was sleeping soundly. I listened for any movement until I finally just got up and made breakfast. Otherwise, it has been a relaxing day. It is too hot to do anything outside, our heat index is 105°F. We are expecting thunderstorms at any time. I forced myself to go out to pick tomatoes and peppers before the rain arrived. Even with sprinkler, things wither in this heat. Momma and hubby are taking after lunch naps. Just as I start to doze off, something awakens me so I decided to write my journal. Hubby asked when his new ride got to be my blip. Today is the day for introductions. He really like it. I plan to make a meat loaf for dinner. That’s something Momma can eat and enjoy. Looking at the calendar, next week will be a quiet one. If the heat subsides, I will trim bushes. There are some in dire need of a trim. Hubby gets scratched to bits every time he mows the lawn. Wishing you a week of calm weather so you can tackle your to do lists. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. Here comes the storm…. “Look what finally arrived at my house (today) … and I will admit, it was worth the wait for the one I wanted.”-Louisem.com
