Fireweed and bee

Though there hasn't been a fire here.
Excellent visiting preacher at church this morning, a shame several people were away this week.
After lunch I moved (with Mr Rat's help) a storage box across the garden and then finished wood-treating it and tidying where it had been.
Before watching the end of le Tour I went for a walk down to the other ponds and passed the Willowherb n the way. In extras there's a pic of Purple and Yellow Loosestrife growing together, I've usually seen them separate.
I walked back across the recently closed golf course, it was overgrown in some place but had been cut in others. 2 groups of youths were out on their trail bikes and seemed to be having fun without bothering anyone, I hope they stay that way.
Then watched the cycling until it had finished, the last loops were fun to watch, made more so by the heavy rain (there, not here!).
