The Iconic

I had an enormously expensive lunch today to celebrate B's birthday.   It was at Cafe Sydney on top of Customs House with views out over Circular Quay.  

Lunch was lovely and it was a celebration so I am not complaining.  We are getting a chef in to the villa in Tuscany and it is costing about the same per person if that can give you a rough idea of the cost.

I got the ferry in and home (this time from Woolwich as Huntley's point wharf is closed for renovations.  Instead of being on the river cat it was one of those huge yellow and green ferries.  Not anywhere near as big as the Manly Ferry though.   

Being in Sydney it gave me an opportunity to size mum up who has been very confused recently.   She does have dementia but this seems to have been a rather large step backwards so my brothers and I have been working on a plan.  I will be back on the weekend.
