More threats of thunder
storms for today, but morning
is so beautiful!

I was out on my deck at 6 getting a look at my mountains as the sun began to ease into our valleys. Then, I was off with my camera to have a drive along Shuswap Road and the South Thompson River.

I turned off the Yellowhead Highway and on to Shuswap Road where I could begin to relax. I got a long shot looking across the river to the Wanda Sue, a replica paddlewheeler.

I found an eagle perched in the usual location. It was watching the river closely. On my return, I found two eagles. They were calling to each other. looking across the platform at each other like an old married couple.

The farmers in this area are on their second cut for hay. One busy fellow was out early raking the cut.

I got brave and stopped right on the road to get a shot of the silt bluffs. They look so interesting when the light moves around them.

I picked up my breakfast on the last stop and am home for the day.
