Coimbra

Today I travelled from Lisbon to Coimbra by train.  The train departed at the exact minute of the timetable, it was cool and clean, and the person in the seat next me  told me that Trump was awesome . . . 

Interesting. 

When I arrived at Coimbra the external temperature had risen from 33c to 36c.  I normally like to use public transport but this was suddenly a taxi kind of day.  

My airbnb is high in an historic multi storey building.  No lift.  I was super grateful my host was available to help with suitcase.  He showed me to my room and left me to settle in.  The room has a small window and was thickly curtained to help keep out the heat.  I pulled it back anyway, opened the window and took this photo.
