The Eastern Ontario drive around

A beautiful day, so after watching Liverpool lose in a pre-season friendly, we thought we’d make a bit of an effort and get out and about for a while. It still felt a bit weird without the accompanying Ottawacker Jr., but whaddyagonnado? Started off our little road trip by heading out to Calabogie Peaks, just past Arnprior and into cottage country. It’s also the place where we got married all those years ago. Mrs. Ottawacker fancied a swim, so we headed to the lake… just in time for her to realise she didn’t want to risk infecting her leg. So, we wandered round for a while, and then decided to head over to Perth, via a book sale. Perth onto Carleton Place, then back home for dinner.
