Albizia julibrissin rosea - Pink Silk/Mimosa Tree

Today we had one shower of light rain!  The first for months and months while other parts of the country have had a fair bit from time to time.

Meeting this evening down in the village at S and R's home where in the garden was this beautiful flowering tree!  The SilkTree was first brought to Europe in 1745 by Filippo Albizzi.  It is native of the area from Iran to China and symbolises different things including elegance and joyful anticipation!
