New Brass

 Our grandson has switched from the trumpet to the trombone. He is joining his school band this coming year, and they need a trombone. It is amazing how fast he was able to transition. His other grandfather was also a trombone player and played in the Washington Redskins' marching band. He had his trombone refurbished and gave it to our grandson, who loves it and keeps taking it out of the case to play. He says it is so much easier and more fun than the trumpet.
I played trombone in my high school marching band, I loved it, too. Isn’t it funny how things happen?
