No Mole, No Fee

This has no relevance at all today's post, but It's a good start, I think... and if any reader is in Somerset and has a mole problem (neither applies to me), it might even come in useful.

I've been inspired to join by the delicious, delightful, hilarious LadyFindhorn, who always makes me laugh and says things I really couldn't predict.

Years ago, I did a daily gratitude blog called Reasons To Be (grateful)... 100 Days of Gratitude. It went on for years, but that was years ago. I've started the practice again but I miss the discipline of writing it daily and pressing Publish. I need accountability to do anything consistently.

So, here we go. This morning, I'm already grateful for a dip in the uncharacteristically clear waters of Portobello beach, for the enjoyable car ride home with LF, resulting already in this happening and for the delicate beauty of the pink(s) gladioli right net to me. They're at their perfect point, with many flowers open, baby-pink and pale blooms with a deep pink stain, like lips. They're like little shouting mouths, all set off with some stark red-orange Lucifer mombretia. Right there, exuding beauty in the simplest of ways.

Gorgeous.
