Bridge 96 - Trent & Mersey (Hall Green Branch)
Paul and I finished the series of Canal Alan geocaches in Cheshire although we still have two or three that we couldn't find that we want to revisit.
The last section was along the Hall Green branch of the Trent and Mersey and then on to the Macclesfield canal. Last week I mentioned that the Hall Green branch is only about 1.5 miles long and there are only four bridges which follow the numbering of the Macclesfield canal.
This is bridge 96, Pipers Bridge, with Paul looking in the wrong place for the cache. On the other side of the bridge you can see the parapet of the bridge I blipped last week. This is an aqueduct which takes the Hall Green Branch over the Main branch.
