Pickled Plums

The crop of plums from the tree in the garden is huge and there are many more to harvest.  This type of plum is a Mirabelle.

It's my favourite kind of summer's day here - cloudy and it rains every so often.  Much nicer than 40°C sunshine.  More rain would be appreciated,
