Help Yourself

The ongoing glut of Mirabellen is now reaching ridiculous heights.  They're thriving this year like no other year. Look, if you pass the house, help yourself.

One of my favourite composers/songwriters died this week which was sad. His name was Tom Lehrer (Lehrer is the German word for teacher) and he was quite famous in the 60s and 70s.  He gave it up to go back to being a professor of mathematics at the University of California, Santa Cruz.  


He was quite a wordy songsmith and given that I'm a sucker for wordplay it was a given that he would appeal to me.  Try him, you might like him.
