Blooming good

A dull morning after some early rain. I risked putting out some washing before I headed off to Pilates with my friend. A good session largely based on exercises using the large ball. Great fun. 

It was drizzling when we walked home but it didn’t last long and actually brightened up for a while. My friend only stayed for coffee as she had to get back. I was very tired, a bit of a disturbed night,  so was a bit relieved not to be going out for lunch.

I did some ironing after lunch and then had a little sleep!
It’s just turned dark so I went to bring the washing in and it’s virtually dry, just a bit of airing needed for the jeans, more ironing for tomorrow (and washing!) So I took this quick pic on my phone.

I put the large agapanthus on as an extra about 10 days ago when it was just buds and they are now all pretty much open. There are 25, less than last year but still pretty good. In the foreground is a fairly new blue one, nice blooms but not very tall. Another in the same bed is only leaf. I’d hoped others planted out would do as well as this white one but obviously not all if them. I have a few more. Two in a pot on the kitchen patio are full of blue flowers but the other pot is yet again just leaf. One of non flowering ones is ‘Twister’, blue and white, which is a bit disappointing. A few blooms were nearly on the ground at the back so I’ve cut them off to enjoy inside.

Tea time drinks are postponed till tomorrow, hope to get more sleep tonight.
