Chepstow Castle
When we woke up this morning it was raining heavy which did not bode well for our planned visit with granddaughter Amelia, to Chepstow Castle, Monmouthshire, South Wales (UK).
We set off late morning with the forecast saying sun and showers, and as we walked over Chepstow Bridge, where I took the view of the castle on the River Wye, it was hot and sunny. Within an hour it was pouring down and we took refuge inside the castle for Amelia to eat her lunch.
Afterwards we enjoyed a walk around the town where the extra shows Amelia on a sculpture seal, and the extra is of her enjoying a baby 'chino in Costa.
She's been tired all day as she fights sleep and dropped off to sleep on the way home! A nice peaceful evening for us tonight with a chilled wine to relax!
