Little Boat

Day 2. The tradition is a swim before breakfast so that's what we did. Totally glorious. Francis and Chris swam to "the other side" while me and Fiona swam to the little island and back again. 
Breakfast, some sitting around and then a trip in the little boat to pick up the big boat. Francis beyond happy driving (?) the little boat home. He really is living his best life. 
Lunch and some more mooching. Fiona and Chris did a supermarket run while me and Francis chopped wood and stocked up the woodpile. Very satisfying. 
Then it rained so we read and snoozed, snoozed and read. I realised that I don't have to be at work for another two weeks and I really am on holiday which was really reviving. 
Dinner and now Francis is lighting a fire. Looking forward to more of the same tomorrow.
