Midnight swim

Well that was a day. Started with a swim "to the other side" with Fiona and Francis, Chris alongside in the kayak. Long, easy breakfast and then we made a picnic and headed off in the boat to an island where we spent the rest of day swimming, splashing, sunning and paddle boarding.
When it came to leave the boat wouldn't work so we hung around waiting for Marius the boat man to come and fix it. 
He came quite quickly and we got home to barbecue, dance on the xylophone and once it got dark (around 11.30pm) we went for soft and silkly swim in the dark, dark water. Completely magical. 
A little whiskey night cap in front of the fire to warm up and then bed. What a wonderful day.
