Back home

Back home. Feels like we've been away for ever and I can't believe how much we did whilst also feeling like we went very slowly, no rushing or trying to pack everything in.
A slow start, a cup of tea and a slice of bread and jam before a swim (me, Chris and Francis) around the island, 2.5km, with Fiona in the kayak. It was a bit of a rollercoaster ride of moments of complete bliss being in the water and other moments of I'm really not sure about this. I decided that I don't like the bits where it's deep but really weedy, something about that is a bit spooky. But I really like the deep bits where it's clear and all you can see is the person swimming next to you.
Chris and Fiona had to go out to stock up for all the family who are coming to join them today so me and Francis packed, tidied and went for a wash in the sea and then sat in the sun until they got back.
When they did there wasn't enough time to go out in the boat so we all went for one last swim with some funny synchronised diving off the jetty and much bobbing and chatting.
Lunch under the tree and then to the quietest airport ever for the journey home.
Now waiting for Sam who is also on his way home from Scotland. Hope he's had a good time.
