Shaftesbury Cinema
It's been an uneventful couple of days. I went for a walk this evening in search of pictures and decided to head to a bridge down the road on the junction of York Road and Harehills Lane. Whilst trying to get some pictures of the landscape and shots looking down York Road, I suddenly noticed this old cinema on the corner.
I looked it up and found some information about it. It was opened in 1928 and closed in 1975, with a couple of brief hiatuses. It then became a Sikh temple, before becoming a café, and now it is a pawnbrokers.
