Happy Birthday to Suzie

Suzie wanted pineapple upside down cake for her birthday. I baked it in my newly acquired cast iron skillet. Turned out quite lovely, if I do say so myself. 

The kids will come over tonight for Thai food and some cake. Suzie also got a large projection screen and projector for her birthday, she wants to watch movies out in the backyard, problem is, it gets dark so late and we retire so early. We’ll have to manage a late night now and again. A good treat for the grandkids when they have a sleepover. Maybe I’ll figure out how to hang some blackout curtains on the patio pavilion.
