Beach

A late night made for a late morning. I am so glad I had the foresight to take today off. I’m not quite sure how TT managed to get himself up for work this morning.

I expected it to be raining today, so was pleasantly surprised that it was dry. I spent my morning cleaning and tidying and catching up with the laundry. There wasn’t much in, but I managed to cobble toasties together for lunch.

After lunch BB and I headed over to Dirleton, and did a circuit via Archerfield, Gullane and then back by the coast to Yellowcraig and to Dirleton.  We didn’t meet many people on our walk. It was a lovely afternoon, though still quite hazy, with some hair out at sea. We could at least see the Bass Rock today, unlike yesterday.

As we were on the last leg of our walk, there were some spots of rain, and the clouds were getting darker. We made it to the car, and in fact the rain didn’t come to anything. We picked up some stuff for tea on the way home,
. Once home I brought the washing in, just in case the rain came on—thankfully it didn’t.  I also cooked tea. Later I had a very quick walk along the road and back again, then turned my thoughts to tomorrow, and work.

This is a sandy beach on our walk along the coast.
