Graduation

Another emotional day today as Paul attended his graduation ceremony. His PhD has been a very long journey, full of ups and downs, but he got through it all and has ended up with a well deserved higher degree. He was originally a bit ambivalent about attending the ceremony but I think in the end he was glad he had, as it certainly marked the occasion very well. We were both so tired by the end of the day that we were very glad to have decided to go out for a meal when Adam is back at the weekend, and instead we had nice easy supermarket curries for dinner and had an early night. Back to the real world again tomorrow!
