Wednesday: Clematis “Princess Diana”

Managed to get a load of washing dried outdoors, it’s very overcast and we’ve had rain overnight. 

Whilst in the garden I noticed that one of the apples had fallen from the Bardsey apple tree, this was a very special treat for MrD, which he enjoyed :-)) The tiny tree has dozens of apples on it this year, it’s shaded by the damson and  Bramley cooking apple trees which take the full force of the wind.

I’m slowly working through “Around the World in 80 Gardens” presented by Monty Don, Episode 7 covers Marrakesh and The Alhambra - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0094wvb - and provides a relaxing bit of  escapism! Also watched “Last of the Summer Wine” and “Poldark”.
