At home.

Back in Lichinga, the provincial capital of Niassa, Mozambique’s most remote province. Since my last visit the church is now sporting an insta-friendly ‘I Heart Lichinga’ display.

I had a preparation meeting with the two facilitators who are helping us through the agenda for the next two days. The group of stakeholders working in this landscape is incredibly divergent in its outlook and the atmosphere is often tense when discussing how to improve management. Despite that I always feel more at home and that I am contributing more in Mozambique, as I remain more familiar with the place and people here.
