I was making the bed up in Miss PHL’s room when my eye was caught be her sadly neglected cactus. The wee spines looked good for TinyTuesday. Apologies to JDO for the late posting of my blip.

A very tough stretch class this morning as our usual instructor Emma who is soft and gentle on us was ill so Lisa took the class. Lots of work with the resistance bands which is probably for the best as I’ll miss my other two classes this week as we’re away with friends.

Phin and I had a relatively speedy walk around Newbattle before I grabbed some lunch and headed off for a much needed pedicure. Home to tackle the ironing and heat up our freezer dinner. I’d grabbed two bags of what I thought were chicken and chorizo stew but one turned out to be paella. I enjoyed that whilst Mr PHL tucked into the stew with some rice. It’s been another fine drying day so all the bedding is washing and either back in the beds or folded away. I hung a load of clothes out before we went to our rotary meeting.

Tonight’s meeting was a photographer who only took up the art when he retired 10 years ago. He’s won several awards and his images were simply stunning,

Finished off the ironing when we got home.
