Colour refresh

After dropping Phin at daycare for his holidays, I headed into town for a much needed hair appointment. Val worked his usual magic although the colour hadn’t come out as vibrant as normal. I still like it and hopefully the longer layer he’s cut will make it easier for me to replicate!

On the way back to the car I called into a little sewing shop which keeps quite restricted hours and cane away with a pattern to make a pair of dungarees. My blip was of this tiny wee jacket in a frame. I guess I need to get my broken sewing machine looked at now I’ve got the material and the pattern!

Home via the supermarkets at Cameron Toll. The Red Cross shop is always worth a look and I came out with 2 shirts and a pair of dungarees. I’m really trying not to buy new but use charity shops and reselling sites such as Vinted.

Got the shopping I needed for going away tomorrow and headed home to make the veggie curry we will be eating with friends tomorrow. I also knocked up some blueberry muffins, marinated chicken thighs in a tandoori style sauce ready for cooking tomorrow and used courgettes and onions for the garden in some bhajis.

I’d washed all of Phin’s bedding and his two beds this morning and they were perfectly dry at tea time, I’ve stocked up the caravan and packed everything I’m taking into bags to put in the van in the morning. I ironed the clothes from yesterday and am just about done for the day.
