CORDYLINES & COYOTES

In July 29th, Campervan posted a plant
that may be related to these dramatic red
plants, in my Blip. His were CORDYLINES, so I am thinking these may be, also. They add a splash of color that catches your attention.

Last evening, after walking Angus in the neighborhood, my walking partner sent
me a video, taken near where we recently walked. It showed a pair of female coyotes (sisters, maybe) with 11 pups, playing happily in the open space, near a house. It looked to me like some pups were almost adolescent & others were much younger. I didn’t know they had litters this late.

I enjoyed watching them play, but all those
pups will grow up to be hunting machines.
I hope they keep the rodent population
under control & leave the neighborhood
dogs & cats alone.
