Three Squirrels

A Red Squirrel, a Grey Squirrel and a Ground Squirrel (aka chipmunk) or, as I prefer to call them, Ruby, Gaylord and Chippilina.  I never knew chipmunks were called Ground Squirrels until I read Henry Thoreau's books. It is a very old term for them. Our heat has broken, at least for a few days, and there may be some rain this morning but I'm not holding my breath.  I hope the horrible humidity is gone too.  That always makes the heat so much worse.
