Wild swim

Third day lucky and we managed to find some lovely places with less people. We started at Robin Hood’s Stride, where the children enjoyed climbing and scrambling on the rocks (extra)
We continued on to find a little cave with a 13th century carved crucifix. We then drove on to Youlgreave and found a wild swimming spot. It wasn’t quite warm enough for me to get in the water but Anna was keen & Anya joined her for a swim. Teddy and Max dipped in for a minute or two before they were shivering :)
A quick chippy tea in Bakewell before we said our goodbyes and were off on the road home.
