Road closures

It took ages to get to the motorway this morning as two routes had road closures so hubby replaced the sat nav and guided me round streets that were new to me. We were going to call into see my bothers who is actually in Italy this week so we decided to go to Richmond. Lovely weather and we picked up a sandwich and coffee and sat on a bench in the castle grounds. It was so busy, nice to see so many kids and dogs enjoying the ruins.
Arrived at a warm cottage and a wilderness for a garden, again. The grass and all the plants have grown so much since we were last here three weeks ago. Poor hubby will have more gardening to do over the next couple of days.
I walked Hetty around the village while hubby made dinner.
Not finished unpacking yet so will do that before settling down for the evening.
