Poor Hetty

Raining when I got up but by the time we left for our morning walk it had stopped. Into Hexham for our regular wander around book and record shops, we took some books to charity shop and came back with just as many.
Out for a walk with Hetty and thankfully hubby came with us as on the way back a very large dog, think it was a big boxer type, got away from the kid that was leading him and ran across the kids play area and grabbed Hetty. It had her pinned down holding her around her ear and neck. The kid and his mum tried to get him off, but he only released her when hubby hit his head and pulled him off. It was very scary. She has a bare patch on her neck but no broken skin. The mother was very rude and when I asked for her details so that I could contact her should we need to involve the vet she got quite nasty and was shouting that I was being stupid and over reacting as it had caused no damage. Hetty has been quiet since we got home but seems unhurt so think it was just shock.
