Workers Memorial

Needed petrol and some milk so nipped to Tesco, filled up then parked up, had a bit of a walk into town to stretch the legs, posted a card at the GPO (showing my age there) for my great grandson's upcoming birthday and on the way back I bought 2 hotpots and a steak pie for our lunch, cancelling out the health benefits of the walk!
Walked back to Tesco, left my car at the car wash and nipped in the store for the milk and a toilet visit. Left 6 or 7 books at the book swap and took one away with me. Picked up the car and drove home.
Not done anything else of note but had a nap late afternoon.
Extras: some Canada Geese on the canal not far from the memorial and the plaque which is near to the memorial and explains it.
